Code for Orlando Community Town Hall
Tue, Aug 06
|Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas Scho
We are a non-partisan civic action oriented meetup of coders, designers, activists, policy nerds, data lovers, writers, and concerned citizens. It's not up to other people to create the kind of positive change our community needs, it's up to us!
Time & Location
Aug 06, 2019, 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas Scho, 6441 E Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32807, USA
About the event
Come have an open conversation with government and community leaders, including:
🍊 State House Representative Anna V. Eskamani (HD47)
🍊 Orange County Sheriff candidate Joe Lopez
🍊 AICP Jessica Frye (Planner III at City of Orlando)
We are hosting a town hall style event where community members in tech, policy, non profit, and more can communicate what problems and topics they feel are most important for us to focus on for our Civic hacking and problem solving efforts. In September we are hosting a hackathon and would love to incorporate these ideas, problems, and topics in our mission for that day.
